  Job Description:
  
  • 
    
  • Perform CT scans on patients using specialized imaging equipment, ensuring proper positioning and technique to obtain high-quality images.
    
  • Prepare patients for CT procedures by explaining the process, addressing any concerns, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
    
  • Administer contrast media as necessary, following established protocols and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
    
  • Monitor patients during CT procedures, recognizing any adverse reactions or complications and taking appropriate action as needed.
    
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging protocols, patient history, and procedural documentation, in compliance with regulatory standards.
    
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret imaging results, providing additional imaging as needed for further evaluation.
    
  • Maintain and calibrate CT equipment, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
    
  • Adhere to departmental policies and procedures, including safety protocols, infection control measures, and quality assurance standards.
    
  • Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay current with advancements in CT technology and imaging techniques.

    • CT Tech needed to work 9am-9pm W/Th/Fr, no weekends or holiday rotation required.
      
    • Client is open to making this position 4-10s.
      
    • Client does not schedule tech with a break, though that does not necessarily mean they do not get one. No holiday rotation required.
      
    • Looking for someone with at least 2 years CT experience. Lancaster General has Canon CT units at facility. Experience with those scanners is preferred, but not required.
      
    • Both covid and flu vaccine are required. Medical and/or religious declinations are accepted with proper documentation.
