Job Description:

As a CNC Machinist you will produce very complex machined parts by setting up and operating a CNC Mill or Lathe Machines. POSITIONS ARE FOR 2ND SHIFT WHICH WORKS 3:00PM TO 12:00AM. 15% Shift Differential $3,000 Signing Bonus We currently operate state-of-the-art: Multi-axis Mazak Mills Multi-axis Mazak Turning Centers Swiss Lathes What you’ll do Read blueprint or job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, and depth of cut. Select, positions, and secure work piece (chuck, collet, or vise). Change tools, adjust offsets and tool comps to maintain required part quality. Inspect products during the machining operation to determine if parts meet print specifications. Observe operation of machine and verify conformance of machined workpiece to specifications. Maintain equipment by completing basic preventive maintenance requirements. Reporting need for machine repairs. Understand and comply with company policy safety guidelines, quality systems requirements and housekeeping standards. What you need to thrive in this role High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Prior experience operating CNC Mills or Lathes (experience preferred in setting up and programming/editing programs) Ability to read and understand blueprints including GD&T tolerancing with profile tolerancing preferred.
