Job Description Job Description Gardner/Fox is a full-service design/build construction firm founded in 1987 and based in Bryn Mawr. Our award-winning firm operates both a residential and commercial division. We are currently looking for an experienced commercial construction cost estimator to join our team. The individual would be involved in soliciting subcontractors and vendors for project bids, conducting subcontractor walkthroughs, and de-scoping subcontractor and vendor proposals. Additionally, the individual would be required to do plan take-offs utilizing Bluebeam and BIM software and import take-off information into Excel spreadsheets. Preferred or Required Background and Education: 5 years prior experience. Educational background and/or work experience in commercial construction. Sectors of experience would include at least one or more of the following: medical, retail, office, restaurant, hotel, religious, and/or out-of-the-ground construction. Good communication, organizational and computer skills required. Thoroughness and attention to detail are also a must. Must be proficient at using Microsoft Excel and Word.
