King & Wood Mallesons LLP is hiring an Associate Attorney in New York City to provide legal advice to corporate clients across wide range of transactions and corporate matters; support clients in their investment and business endeavors in China, from initial due diligence to negotiating and drafting contracts, to managing compliance and regulatory matters. $100,000 per year.

Requirements:Law degree (JD) or equivalent, admission to New York Bar, and 8 months of legal experience in the following: drafting memoranda of understanding, transaction agreements, closing checklists for cross-border M&A, and private equity; cross-border M&A legal due diligence including document requests and reports; drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts to structure deals; corporate compliance advising; drafting transaction documents for emerging growth companies; VC deals for China-based clients; cross-border M&A and credit financing deals for Asia based clients; and direct investment into China.
