Job Description:
Berkshire Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Certified Nursing Associate to join our team. This role is crucial
in providing top-notch, personalized care and support to our
patients undergoing rehabilitation and skilled nursing services.
The ideal candidate will be deeply committed to nurturing the
physical and emotional well-being of our patients, working closely
under the supervision of our nursing staff to assist with daily
living activities and healthcare procedures. Assist in the daily
care of patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding. Monitor
and record patients' condition, reporting any changes to registered
nurses or supervisors. Administer medication and treatments as
prescribed and trained under the guidance of nursing staff. Assist
with mobility and physical therapy exercises. Prepare and maintain
patient rooms and living spaces, ensuring a clean and safe
environment. Provide emotional support and companionship to
patients. Follow protocols and guidelines to ensure compliance with
health and safety regulations. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills Ability to follow detailed instructions
Proficiency in maintaining accurate records Knowledge of basic
healthcare and hygiene standards Compassion and patience in
handling vulnerable patients Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
