Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school
psychologist position is available to support a high school setting
on a contract basis. This role requires working three days per
week, seven hours each day, providing essential psychological
services to students. The assignment starts immediately and
continues through June 13, 2026. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct
psychological assessments and interpret results to assist in
developing appropriate educational plans. - Collaborate with
educators, administrators, and families to support student learning
and well-being. - Provide counseling and crisis intervention as
needed to promote mental health. - Participate in Individualized
Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to developing
effective interventions. - Maintain accurate and confidential
records in compliance with school policies and regulations.
Qualifications: - Licensed or certified school psychologist
credential. - Experience working in secondary education settings
preferred. - Strong knowledge of psychological testing and
assessment tools. - Effective communication and interpersonal
skills for working with diverse student populations. - Ability to
work independently and manage caseload efficiently. Location:
Newark, NJ This position serves students in a high school
environment within the greater Newark area. Hours & Contract: -
Part-time schedule: 3 days per week, 7 hours per day (21 hours
weekly). - Immediate start with assignment extending through June
13, 2026. This opportunity offers a meaningful role supporting
