Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine | Anesthesiology - Cardiac Location: New York Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position A well-established private anesthesia practice in Albany, New York is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join a respected and high-volume cardiac program. This opportunity allows physicians to practice in a collaborative environment supporting a growing cardiac surgery team. The practice serves a busy inpatient heart center with 30 operating rooms and provides anesthesia services for a wide range of surgical specialties. The incoming physician will primarily focus on cardiac and vascular procedures , supporting a team of newly recruited cardiac surgeons. Key Responsibilities: Provide anesthesia care for complex cardiac surgical procedures including CABG, valve replacements, and other cardiovascular surgeries. Work within a high-volume cardiac center performing approximately 6–8 cardiac cases per day . Participate in variable shift schedules (8, 10, or 12-hour shifts) . Take part in a shared call rotation of approximately 1:5 with first call every eighth night and no second call responsibilities. Conduct pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care for cardiac surgery patients. Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, nurses, and multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Contribute to ongoing improvements in anesthesia protocols and patient safety practices. Provide general and regional anesthesia across multiple surgical specialties when needed. Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology (within 5 years of eligibility). ECHO Board Certification and/or completion of a Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship required prior to start. Fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesiology highly preferred . Active New York medical license or willingness to obtain. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required by start date. Recent NPDB Self-Query report (within 30 days) required at submission. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with commitment to high-quality patient care. H-1B visa sponsorship available (J-1 waiver not supported). Must be interested in permanent placement (locums candidates will not be considered).
