unit, Trauma overflow) - Setting: PACU supporting ICU boarders,

Employment Type: Travel RN, On-site - Contract Duration: 13 weeks
(April 6, 2026 – July 5, 2026) - Shifts: Night Shift (19:00 –
07:30) — ICU RN night shift - Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
(36 hours/week), option for 48-hour work weeks - Unit Hours: Monday
7am – Saturday 7pm (no Sundays); blocked scheduling considered Job
Requirements / Qualifications - Active Pennsylvania Registered
Nurse (RN) license (required) - Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification (required) - Graduate of an accredited school of
nursing (required); BSN preferred - Minimum 1 year of ICU or
relevant acute care experience preferred (critical care nurse,
PACU, ED experience highly valued) - Critical care certification
(CCRN), Trauma certification, or Emergency Nursing (CEN) preferred
but not required - Current ACLS, PALS, or other specialty
certifications as applicable per unit requirements - Strong
assessment, critical thinking, and patient/family communication
skills for high-acuity patients Responsibilities - Provide
high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to ICU boarders in the
PACU unit, primarily trauma overflow patients - Float to the
Emergency Department for ICU holds or to other ICU/Stepdown units
as patient census requires - Perform comprehensive assessments,
implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams -
Monitor and manage critically ill patients, including ventilator
management, hemodynamic support, and post-op/trauma care - Direct,
delegate, and supervise nursing support staff according to nursing
practice standards and departmental policies - Document care
accurately in the electronic medical record and maintain up-to-date
knowledge of current clinical practices - Participate in unit-based
quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and onboarding of
