science, we’re in. Are you? About the Role: We’re looking for a
Medical Director, Medical Affairs - Interstitial Lung Diseases
(ILD) to help us expand what’s possible for patients with serious
diseases. Reporting to the Sr Medical Director, Medical Affairs,
the Medical Director, Medical Affairs – ILD will develop,
implement, and lead the therapy portfolio strategy and planning for
Medical Affairs across all geographic regions ensuring a cohesive
approach. This individual will develop and lead all medical affairs
activities ensuring partnership within the team (medical strategy,
scientific communications and publications), all key Medical
Affairs functions (Medical Excellence, HEOR, Field Medical, Medical
Information) as well as maintaining a high-level cross-functional
collaboration across the organization to ensure alignment and One
Insmed approach. What You'll Do: In this role, you’ll have the
opportunity to establish and shape medical strategy for entry
intoIPF/PPF across indications?ensuring this fits within the
overall company strategy and cross functional alignment. You’ll
also: Develop and execute MA plans to ensure that strategy is
reflected in medical plans and that these deliver on critical
identified milestones in launch planning. Provide medical
leadership input for cross functional partners including clinical,
operations, HEOR, and commercial?to ensure that there is a strong
medical voice. Build external relationship network across
therapeutic area to supporttrial enrollment, launch prep, and to
seek advice. Develop data generation strategy, including
gapanalysis, to evolve product data generation plans and ensure
alignment with the overall brand/OneMedical strategy. ? Review
publications, help create medical backgrounders, FAQs, and
standardresponses, and develop internal training approach?. Propose
future MA team to support programs as they progress. Develop full
thought leader engagement strategic approach and ensuing plan.
Partner with Medical Strategy, Regions, and Finance to plan and
manage annual budget for medical activities. Ensure a comprehensive
and harmonious approach by collaborating across Medical Affairs,
Regions, and other functions including Commercial and Development.
Partner with team members to identify and integrate innovative
ideas and best practices into strategies, plans, and activities.
Who You Are: You must have a PharmD, PhD, or MD with 6 years of
pharmaceutical or biotech experience and previous leadership roles
within the Medical Affairs function. Additionally, you have: Deep
knowledge of Medical Affairs and understanding of launch planning
with previous launch experience. Ability to work independently and
operate as the primary medical affairs representative. Demonstrated
history of leading process and operational excellence and
developing planning standards.? Ability to immerse seamlessly in a
matrixed organization?. Ability to collaborate with multiple
partners and functions. Strong critical thinking with the ability
to connect multiple components. Proven track record of effectively
inspiring change. Persuasive communication skills (both written and
verbal)and high attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to
creatively solve problems and encourage unique solutions. Nice to
have (but not required): Proven experience and strong knowledge in
pulmonary indications, especially within the ILD/IPF/PPF space
strongly preferred. Global experience or experience in multiple
regions is an advantage. Where You’ll Work This can be a fully
remote role because the selected candidate should be able to
perform effectively from anywhere while staying connected to your
Insmed team and community. Occasional travel for team meetings or
events will be expected. Alternatively, if you live within a
drivable distance of our Bridgewater, NJ facilities, you’ll have
the option to work remotely most of the time, but with more
in-person collaboration when it matters most. Travel Requirements
This role requires occasional domestic travel (up to 20%). LI-MM1
