Job Description:
Encompass Health Mechanicsburg is seeking a dedicated and
skilled Nurse Supervisor to join our team, which is devoted to
delivering the highest level of integrated healthcare. Our facility
focuses on providing a continuum of care for patients recovering
from life-changing illnesses and injuries. As a Nurse Supervisor,
you will play a critical role in overseeing the nursing staff and
ensuring that patient care is delivered effectively, while adhering
to established policies, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
This role involves both direct patient care and administrative
responsibilities, including staff supervision, scheduling, and
maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.
Supervise and lead a team of nurses and support staff to ensure
optimal patient care. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient
care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members. Maintain
staff compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage
staffing schedules, allocations, and nursing assignments. Ensure
the documentation and continuity of care between shifts. Conduct
performance evaluations and contribute to staff development and
training initiatives. Address and resolve issues or conflicts that
arise in patient care settings. Participate in budgeting and
clinical resource management. Strong leadership and team management
skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency
in electronic health record (EHR) systems Ability to work
effectively under pressure and make informed decisions quickly
In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and
patient care standards Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state
of employment. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred.
