Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity
is ideal for a dedicated Occupational Therapist specializing in
school-based therapy services. The position is located in the
Bronx, NY, serving diverse school communities. It involves travel
between multiple school locations, offering a dynamic work
environment and the chance to impact the lives of students across
the region. Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy
evaluations and interventions to students within school settings
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to
develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Use evidence-based
practices to support student development in fine motor skills,
sensory processing, and daily living activities Maintain accurate
documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulatory
and school district guidelines Adapt therapy techniques to meet the
unique needs of each student and support inclusive education
Preferred Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapy license with
experience in school-based practice Strong communication and
interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with
multidisciplinary teams Ability to manage travel schedules
efficiently across multiple school sites Commitment to promoting
student independence and academic success through therapeutic
interventions Familiarity with IEP processes and regulatory
requirements in educational settings Location: Bronx, New York,
with travel required to various nearby schools within the district
