Job Description:
A Medical Practice is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse
Practitioner (NP) to join our team and provide care at a skilled
nursing facility in North Bergen, NJ. Must be able to work either 2
PM -10 PM or 3 PM - 11 PM. New graduates with strong clinical
capabilities are welcome to apply. Competitive compensation will be
offered, commensurate with experience. Extensive training and
ongoing support are provided. Duties: - Ensure delivery of quality
patient care in a respectful, professional manner. - Collaborate
with physicians by identifying patient care issues, providing
clinical insights, and implementing directives. - Conduct
comprehensive patient assessments including interviews, physical
exams, and medical history reviews. - Document all patient care
activities thoroughly and accurately in medical records. - Perform
therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing,
and wound management. - Educate and counsel patients on treatment
plans, wellness, and health maintenance. - Develop and implement
patient management plans to ensure continuity of care. - Maintain
compliance with infection control policies and legal requirements.
- Participate in professional development activities and contribute
to team growth and education. Requirements: - Board Certification
as a Nurse Practitioner is required. - Demonstrated skills in
clinical assessment, health promotion, infection control,
medication administration, and pain management. - Strong ability to
communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare
teams. - Commitment to self-development and staying current with
professional standards. - Experience in hospital or skilled nursing
settings is preferred but not mandatory.
