has served the Pendleton region for over 100 years as part of
CommonSpirit Health. The facility operates on a 93-acre campus and
provides comprehensive services including acute care, a Level 4
trauma emergency department, cancer care, imaging, and surgical
services. The hospital maintains a focus on compassionate care
while delivering essential healthcare services to the rural
community. About the Facility Location Pendleton, Oregon, is a
historic, agriculture-focused city of roughly 17,000 residents in
the Blue Mountain foothills, known as "The Real West." Famous for
the annual Pendleton Round-Up rodeo, Pendleton Woolen Mills, and
its deep ranching heritage, it blends Old West culture with modern,
small-town life, and serves as a gateway to the Umatilla National
Forest. About the Clinician's Workday The position requires a
board-certified General Surgeon to provide comprehensive surgical
services at a critical access hospital with day shift coverage and
nightly call responsibilities. The clinician must be prepared to
respond to trauma cases in the emergency department as part of the
Level 4 trauma designation. Daily responsibilities include
performing general surgical procedures, managing inpatient surgical
consultations, and providing on-call coverage to ensure 24-hour
