Pathologists' Assistant for a local contract job in Hackensack, New
Jersey. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Pathologists'
Assistant - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13
weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type:
Local Contract Skills: Required Skills & Experience: -Minimum of 10
years’ experience. Preferred Skills & Experience: Education:
Required Education: -Bachelor’s degree from a NAACLS accredited
institution as a pathologists’ assistant with training that must
include both didactic lectures and on-site clinical training in
anatomic pathology, specifically surgical and autopsy pathology.
-Bachelor degree must be in Health Sciences or other biological
discipline. Preferred Education: -Master’s Degree. Required
Certifications & Licensure: -ASCP certification as an on-the-job
trained PA in a hospital laboratory performing technical duties
relating to anatomic pathology with documented competencies in
prosecution of simple to complex specimens. -American Society for
Clinical Pathology (ASCP). Preferred Certifications & Licensure:
