Job Title: Wound Care RNLocation: Brooklyn, NYFacility: Spring Creek Rehabilitation & Nursing Care CenterShift: Full-Time, 9:00 AM 5:00 PMSalary: $115,000 per yearJob Description:Spring Creek Rehabilitation & Nursing Care Center is seeking an experienced and dedicated Wound Care RN to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. In this full-time role, you will provide high-quality wound care to our residents, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal healing and comfort.Key Responsibilities:Assess residents/patients with existing or newly developed wounds.Collaborate with physicians to establish and implement appropriate treatment plans.Lead weekly wound rounds with the care team; monitor and document wound progress.Update and maintain a weekly tracking form for each wound.Communicate promptly with physicians if a wound is not responding to treatment.Maintain and distribute weekly decubitus statistics to the wound care team every Monday.Conduct in-service training for staff on proper wound care procedures.Perform quarterly Quality Assurance reports to ensure compliance with each resident's wound care plan.Observe and evaluate dressing changes to ensure staff competency.Provide wound care education to residents and their families as needed.Attend continuing education sessions to remain current with best practices and standards of care.Requirements:Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) licenseWound Care CertificationInfection Control CertificationMinimum of 1 year of experience; nursing home experience preferredBenefits:401K retirement planGenerous paid time offComprehensive medical and dental coverageTeam-oriented and supportive work environmentCompany perks and employee recognition programsIf youre passionate about wound care and want to make a difference in a resident-centered environment, Spring Creek Rehabilitation & Nursing Care Center is the place for you.
