Join our team where we prioritize exceptional patient care and offer a nurturing environment for our team.The RN provides both Pre-Op, OR and PACU nursing care to patients in our pediatric ambulatory surgical center. You will be responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to our young patients utilizing the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the surgery center.Hours: 6:30am - 3:30pmLocation: 2301 E. Allegheny Ave, Suite 301M, Phila, PA 19134What You Will Do:Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and accurately document nursing care for the pre-operativeCoordinate all aspects of nursing care with pre-operative team to achieve defined patient outcomesWorks closely with the surgeons and the anesthesia care providers to guide the child safely through the postoperative periodProvide nursing care patients in post op, continuously monitoring and assessing patients during their stayAssisting patients recovering from anesthesiaAssessing the patient's health status and previous medical historyProvide appropriate education to the patients family regarding their individualized plan of care for at home recoveryWhat You Will Need:Graduate of accredited School of NursingAt least one year of experience as an RN preferredPrevious experience working in a pediatric or ambulatory surgery setting a plusAbility to obtain ACLS/ PALS within 6 months of start dateBLSCurrent State RN LicenseWhat We Offer:We believe that taking care of our employees and their families is paramount.
