Location: Mulberry, Florida -- BACKGROUND:

-----Number of countries (production only) : 7
-----Operating facilities: 12 production plants, 4 R&D centers -- --KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Quality, Stewardship and Execution
-----Ensure that the results of the BU are reported on time, accurately and with clarity and transparency to the BU management, the Corporate Finance/Control & Accounting group, and ensure the results are understandable to Corporate and BU executives.
-----Coordinate and direct the financial planning, budgeting and investment activities of the organization.
-----Working Capital management:
-----Ensure credit management and A/R is optimized in partnership with Sales team and credit/collections team.
-----Monitor and define actions to optimize inventory levels worldwide.
-----In some countries, coordinate and manage with Group central functions on Tax, Accounting, Internal control, Risk, IT and legal matters.
-----Continuously improve information flow and processes between regions and business segments
-----Define and implement necessary procedures, in compliance with Group rules
-----Ensure Arkema Finance, Accounting & Control procedures and internal control rules operate effectively
-----Manage external auditors on BU Finance and Risk Management reviews
-----Prepare or direct preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, and/or reports required by regulatory agencies.
-----Lead monthly financial reviews with Executive VP at HQ.-- -- Strategic Advisory and Planning:
-----Active member of BU Leadership Team, collaborating to drive the business to meet or exceed performance goals
-----Strategic financial advisor as a key member of Global Leadership Team and in partnership with other BU leadership
-----Act as a project leader to lead the annual 5 Year Strategic Planning process.
-----Advise business on growth strategy, including mergers, acquisitions and integrations.
-----Drive growth projects (expansion, M&A, etc.) with financial due diligence, forecasting and reporting/tracking
-----Define and influence strategic directions for improving existing financial reporting aligned with BU strategy
-----Analyze the financial details of the past, present and expected operations in order to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed-- -- Talent Management:
-----Manage global and regional BU finance function and team, including hiring, training and development.
-----Partner with HR and Talent Management on individual and team career development.
-----Workforce planning and talent review.-- -- Analytics
-----Produce monthly BU financial results reporting:-- Actual vs budget, prior year and forecast variance analysis, cash flow, capital expenditures, working capital and major project status tracking and updates.
-----Produce weekly forecast of month, quarter, and full year results through coordination of the supply chain, manufacturing, sales, marketing and business leaders
Performance Management
-----Use data and analytics to identify and enable cross functional and BU teams to drive bottom line improvement
-----Develop new techniques, key performance indicators and ensure proper monitoring of action plans to help drive bottom line improvement and business growth
-----Using financial analysis, partner with leadership in decision-making processes and potential investment (Capital Expenditures, Long Term contracts, etc.)
-----Anticipate future BU financing needs by forecasts of operating cash flow, investment needs and working capital evolution
-----Responsibility for control and optimization of variable and fixed costs worldwide -- Operational Excellence and Efficiency
-----Use and collaboration of current and new technologies to facilitate global analysis and data management----
-----Advocate for finance systems and processes continuous improvement and implement transformational programs
-----Cross BU Finance collaboration with tools, processes and efficiencies
-----Ensure proper interactions between BU Finance department and other Arkema departments, such as Colombes Controlling and FP&A, Corporate Finance organization, KOP CFO organization on business financial matters. -- Accountabilities include:
-----Delivery of accurate, timely financial information relative to the activity of the business unit
-----Optimization of capital investments, cash and working capital.
-----Proper monitoring of the risks within the business
-----Control of financial procedures and compliance (integration of IFRS norms, organizational changes, etc.)
-----Continuous operational excellence, improvements and automation
-----Anticipate and support information requests for all levels of Corporate and Business management
-----Effective team and talent management/development (both direct and indirect). Ensures global financial consolidations (JV---s and foreign subsidiaries) are made in compliance with GAAP
-----Through action and behavior, drives a ---prevention--- mindset throughout the organization.-- His/Her goal is to reduce the need for ---crisis management---. -- CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
-----Location of position:-- Mulberry, Florida
-----30 % regional and international travel to be expected
-----Coordination of multicultural teams and complex reporting matrices across multiple geographies, time zones and financial currencies
-----Diversity of products, markets and customers (high volumes grades and specialties, bulk/packaged); complex processes including continuous and batch; multiple manufacturing sites in different countries; all requiring technical creativity, and knowledge of process, chemistry and operations
-----Supports the site HES policy and complies with all regulatory and internal requirements------- -- REQUIRED EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS /WORK EXPERIENCE
-----MBA preferred
-----10+ years Accounting/Finance experience with 2+ years as lead finance person.-- Prefer experience with a multi-national manufacturing business. Chemicals manufacturing is a plus.
-----Matrix organization experience
-----M&A and related financial modeling experience preferred
-----ERP expertise --- SAP preferable
-----Advanced financial modeling, reporting, writing and presentation skills
-----Experience leading cross functional and international teams
-----Experience building and leading a finance team/organization and managing/developing talent
