For more information, visit Grace.com.Site Operations Director - Curtis Bay Works, Baltimore, MDGrace Curtis Bay Works consists of 6 production plants manufacturing products from four businesses: fluid cracking catalysts, hydroprocessing catalysts, polyolefin catalysts, and silicas. Our customers rely on us for superior technical service and support. Grace professionals deeply understand their customers' businesses, operational issues, and regional challenges.Grace is a significant employer in the Curtis Bay area, with approximately 500 employees. Over half of the products manufactured are exported, valued at approximately $150 million annually.The Site Operations Director is responsible for ensuring the predictability, reliability, and consistency of supply from production and logistics, managing financial performance, and serving as backup for the Senior Site Director.This role is on-site in Curtis Bay, Baltimore, MD, reporting to the Senior Site Director.

• Lead employees to develop a customer-focused mindset in all responsibilities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems and implement best practices.
• Model safety and quality values, including critical life safety measures.
• Drive transformation using proven change management strategies.
• Develop current and future leaders through coaching and talent management.
• Support continuous improvement and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Manage the financial performance of the site and participate in monthly S&OP meetings.
• Resolve resource, coordination, and prioritization challenges, including organizational changes.
• Address complex operational problems.
• Lead capital and cost reduction initiatives.
• Maintain positive relationships with union leaders and members.
• Engage proactively with corporate centers of excellence to align priorities.Required Qualifications
  • 15+ years of manufacturing operations experience, including leadership roles.
  • Experience leading change through strategic communication.
  • Proven track record of delivering on-time products meeting customer expectations.
  • Experience with large equipment and material processing.Physical Requirements and Environment
    • Ability to follow safety protocols in environments with hazardous materials.
    • Ability to work in high-hazard environments, including adverse weather, elevated, confined, and noisy conditions.
    • Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, and perform various physical activities, including wearing PPE.Preferred Qualifications
      • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
      • Experience negotiating with unions and managing grievances.
      • Experience developing future leaders in a transformational environment.
      • Leadership experience in a manufacturing plant with 200+ employees.
