SummaryResponsible for the design, development, configuration,
deployment, and maintenance for the Wells Fargo Center network
systems, including data center and broadcast routing, switching,
firewalls, wireless networks, voice, and cloud networking
resources. This role will apply proven communication, analytical,
and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and
resolve issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems.. Implements
and promotes a customer-driven service culture. Acts as a champion
through continued focus on proactively identifying and addressing
processes impacting engineering. Provides leadership and direction
for team which may include multiple functional areas. Develops and
implements strategy for functional area(s). May have responsibility
for developing and managing budget.Job DescriptionWhat You'll
Do:
- In partnership with the Comcast Spectacor business leads and
the Comcast Corporate IT leadership team develops the technical
vision for the network and applications supporting Comcast
Spectacor.
- Lead/Manager a team of two people.
- Functions as a chief technical resource to leadership team to
assist in Technical and Engineering planning and decision
making.
- Prepares Technical and Engineering budget and manages all
expenditures and capital projects associated with the technical
department to operate within budget guidelines.
- Facilitates Engineering team members to meet goals and
projects.
- Monitors technical performance to comply with all industry and
Company technical requirements.
- Meets all quarterly objectives associated with position.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in
matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to
work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as
necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.What You'll Need:
- 7+ years experience with in-depth knowledge of network
infrastructure including firewalls, switches, and wireless access
points
- Ability to translate technology acumen to a nontechnical
team.
- Strong business partner and stakeholder backgound
- Must have good interpersonal skills, working in teams and as an
individual contributor
- Ability to describe problems clearly and concisely in both
written and oral forms and communicate both orally and in writing
in a clear, professional and pleasant manner.
- Self-motivated with desire for continuous learning
- Knowledge of the following technical landcape: IP address
management tools such as IP-Control or IP-Plan. Cisco Switch,
Palo-Alto Firewall, and arena/stadium technology is strongly
preferred. Theatrical lightening, access control with CCTV, and
windows servers.Education/Experience We're Looking For:
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Network Engineering, IT
Operations, or equivalent job related experience/knowledge as
