Job Description:
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:The Marketing Manager is primarily
responsible for creating brand awareness and driving demand for
both the TFI, USA and Thomas Farms brands via meaningful B2B and
B2C activities, inclusive of D2C. This individual will monitor and
engage with our various networks and platforms to implement
initiatives and strategies that contribute to driving sales and
building brand awareness. The Marketing Manager will also have a
dotted line responsibility for Consumer Affairs.--DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:Brand ManagementDevelop strategic plan to increase
awareness of TFI and Thomas Farms to consumers in both USA and
Canada markets. Leverage industry insights using data sources,
inclusive of Circana, Spins, MLA (Meat Livestock Australia),
Technomic, and relevant resources.Coordinate annual marketing
calendar for B2B and B2C with Director of Marketing, planning out
quarterly content for all channels; recipe development, promotions,
MLA funding. Coordinate execution with internal and external
partners.Ensure consistent brand voice across all efforts and
channels.Manage agency partners, on-time and within budget.--Advise
Marketing Director of ways to improve brand awareness & loyalty.
Support needs of Marketing Director to promote sales and brand
growth of TFI USA. Ensure consistent brand voice across all
channels.--Digital Assets, Social Media, EcomCreate brand awareness
and demand for the TFI USA portfolio by implementing relevant
online marketing content and campaigns, executes social media &
events calendar across portfolio of TFI USA brands; tracking and
reporting on digital campaign performance data.Ensures consistent
brand voice across all efforts and channels.Manage the digital
marketing budget to plan and any re-plan efforts; seeks the
appropriate funding from Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) for all
digital platforms.Update the portfolio of TFI USA websites, working
with the appropriate agency partners; to ensure they are current,
dynamic, and relevant.-- Lead SEO efforts with agency
partners.--Manage the ThomasFarms.com and Walmart.com digital
assets and supports ecom sites in partnership with cross-functional
leads and agency to drive customer acquisition and repeat
purchases.-- Manage relationship with fulfillment partner.--Manage
TFI USA library of marketing assets, inclusive of photography &
videos, promotional materials, recipes, labels and associated
marketing collateral. Lead contact with Salsify.Serve as the
company "photographer" for products, people and special
events----Consumer AffairsOversee social listening and consumer
relations via wecare
and ecom platforms.Manage the Consumer Affairs Specialist,
providing guidance and mentoring.--AdditionalPartner with Director
of Marketing to develop summer internship program and serve as
Marketing Intern's manager.Grow in role and develop a broader
understanding of the business to effectively support the
organization; new business development, new product
development/commercialization, product management, key p&l
drivers, purchasing.Any additional tasks as requested by
management, within scope and ability.--JOB REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's
degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or similar, food
industry preferred5+ years of experience in a marketing, digital
marketing or communications role; experience with Social Media
platformsStrong communication skills both verbal and written and
ability to interface with different levels of staff throughout the
organizationStrong Microsoft Office skills specifically Word,
Excel, Outlook, & PowerPointStrong ability to manage several
projects simultaneouslyStrong knowledge and experience with Adobe
Creative Suite programs, WordPress, Shopify, etc. and ability to
learn new programsFast learner who sets ambitious goals with clear
targets and milestonesGeneral understanding of B2B and B2C
marketing techniquesUnderstand and abide by all safety regulations
as well as policies and procedures set forth by Thomas Foods
International USAAbility to work on location in Swedesboro or
Cherry Hill, 4 days per week; work related travel approximately 10%
of the time
