Zentech products are proudly Made in America. Position Summary The Class 3 Soldering Technician plays a critical role in the manufacturing and assembly of high-reliability electronic systems. This position requires precision and expertise in soldering techniques to ensure the integrity and performance of complex electronic assemblies, often used in aerospace, medical, or military applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting work instructions and drawings to execute soldering tasks that meet quality standards. Attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality protocols are paramount to prevent defects and ensure product longevity. Position Responsibilities * Perform Class 3 soldering on electronic components and assemblies following detailed work instructions and industry standards. * Inspect solder joints for quality and compliance using visual and microscopic examination techniques. * Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and product integrity. * Document work performed in reporting systems * Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve soldering processes and resolve technical challenges. Position Qualifications * Certification in IPC J-STD-001 Class 3 Soldering or equivalent. * Demonstrated experience in Class 3 soldering of electronic assemblies. * Ability to read and interpret bill of materials, assembly drawings, product specific documentation, work instructions, and other general documents * Strong manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination. * Experience working in aerospace, medical device, or military electronics manufacturing environments. * Familiarity with additional standards such as J-STD-001 Space Addendum, IPC-771/7721, IPC-A-610 * Previous experience with lead-free soldering processes Zentech offers an extensive benefits package to full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week, including the following: * Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account * Voluntary Life and AD&D, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Accident, Legal, and Identity Fraud Protection * Company paid Life and AD&D and Disability * 401k after 30 days of employment with a company match * Company paid holidays and Paid Time Off Zentech Manufacturing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
