Job Description:
You will be the Quality Engineer for the Quality Team. Our team
is responsible for developing, modifying, and maintaining quality
evaluation and control systems that ensure product excellence. What
You Will Be Doing As the Quality Engineer you will be responsible
for shaping and safeguarding the quality of our materials and
finished products throughout the production lifecycle. Your
responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Design and
implement inspection, testing, and evaluation methods for products
and production equipment. Collaborate with engineering and
manufacturing to establish and enforce quality standards. Conduct
statistical analysis and cost assessments for non?conforming items.
Audit quality systems, identify deficiencies, and drive corrective
actions that meet reliability standards. Document all quality
activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal

Control. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a
facility that requires special access. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in an Engineering
discipline (Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace
Engineering, etc.) with 2 years of professional experience; or a
related Master’s degree. Ability to focus on continual improvement
practices using causal analysis tools to drive corrective and
preventive actions. Be able to effectively communicate with
Customer, Program team and other functional departments.
Willingness/ability to travel to support program issues/needs as
they arise. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in
a dynamic and fast paced environment. Ability to multi-task, meet
deadlines and support engineering activities related to special
process surveys and supplier issues. Ability to pass visual acuity
and color perception exam. Ability to obtain a clearance. US
Citizen. Desired skills Knowledge and understanding of electrical
and mechanical blueprint reading, critical design attributes and
auditing/surveying capabilities. Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black
Belt Certification. ASQ CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) and / or
CQIA (Certified Quality Improvement Associate). SAP Application
Experience. IPC/J-STD, GD&T familiarity. First Article
Inspection (FAI) in accordance with AS9102 experience. Special
Process Engineering Experience. Strong problem solving skills,
corrective action and causal analysis techniques. Strong
communication (both oral and written) will be necessary to support

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be
performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work
Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of
alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance
Information This position requires a government security clearance,
you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual
base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts,
and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado,
Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont,
Washington or Washington DC is $67,000 - $117,990. For states not
referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect
the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary
information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers
factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of
the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key
skills as well as market and business considerations when extending
an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life

Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state
applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at

Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually;
receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave,

calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible. Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major
metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is
$77,000 - $133,400. For states not referenced above, the salary
range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work
