Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for a contract position at a
school located in Wilkes Barre, PA. This role offers an excellent
opportunity to provide therapeutic support to students in need,
helping them develop critical communication skills to enhance their
academic and social success. Key Responsibilities: - Assess,
diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
in students - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
based on student needs - Collaborate with educators, parents, and
support staff to monitor student progress and adjust interventions
accordingly - Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all
regulatory and school policies - Participate in IEP meetings and
contribute professional insights regarding speech and language
goals Desired Qualifications: - Masters degree in Speech-Language
Pathology from an accredited institution - Valid state licensure to
practice as an SLP - Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and
language disorders - Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills - Experience working within a school setting preferred
