specialized educational setting supporting students with severe
needs in a structured behavioral environment. This paraprofessional
role is based in Bensalem, PA, with the assignment supporting
grades K8 students exhibiting high-intensity severe needs,
including aggressive and self-injurious behaviors. Key
Responsibilities: Implement applied behavior analysis (ABA)
interventions and safety protocols within a highly structured
setting. Support students with autism and severe behavioral
challenges to promote learning and safety. Collaborate with the
educational team during mandatory biweekly orientation sessions.
Attend to intensive safety needs and behavioral supports while
maintaining a calm, professional approach. Document and report
student progress and behavior as required. Qualifications: Minimum
of 1 year experience as an ABA paraprofessional. Proven experience
supporting students with autism and severe behavioral needs through
ABA techniques. Comfortable managing high-intensity behaviors and
implementing proactive safety interventions. Must reside within 35
minutes of Levittown, PA. Credential requirements: at least one of
the following48 college credits, associate degree or higher, Child
Development Associate (CDA) credential, or relevant credential of
competency. If not currently credentialed, candidate must complete
a 7-module paraprofessional training during onboarding and submit
the credential within 60 days. Schedule and Location: Monday
through Friday, 37.5 hours/week, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Mandatory
orientation every other week from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Location is
in Bensalem, PA, supporting the local school district. Additional
Considerations: Successful candidates will undergo a detailed
screening including supervisor references and confirmation of
understanding of Pennsylvania Department of Education credential
timelines. Clearances and client HR approval required before
assignment start. This contract position runs ASAP through June 12,
