Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A full-time Special Education teaching position is
available for the upcoming full semester at a middle school located
in Philadelphia, PA. This contract role involves 37.5 hours per
week with an immediate start date, extending until June 12, 2026.
The position requires onsite presence and offers the opportunity to
work within an urban educational environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate mastery of special education subject matter and
instructional techniques. - Develop and implement lesson plans
aligned with state and district standards, utilizing formative
assessments and differentiated instruction. - Manage classroom
behavior effectively and foster a positive learning environment. -
Collaborate with staff and administration to meet student needs and
support academic achievement. Qualifications: - Active Pennsylvania
Special Education certification/licensure is required. - Bachelors
degree is necessary to obtain an emergency teaching permit. -
Experience working in an urban school setting is strongly
preferred. - Strong classroom and behavioral management skills are
essential. - Completion of all Pennsylvania clearances prior to
start is mandatory. - Must have previous school-based teaching
experience. - Comfort and familiarity with the district and school
location are important. Additional Details: - One opening
available. - Position requires compliance with district policies
