Job Description Join our team as a Magnetic Particle Level 2
Technician, where you’ll perform hands-on inspection of customer
materials to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards.
This role involves magnetic particle testing, equipment setup, and
documenting results, along with occasional use of cranes and
forklifts to handle materials. Ideal candidates are
detail-oriented, safety-minded, and enjoy working in a
collaborative, fast-paced environment. /n This role involves
working at our location in Hatfield PA, Monday through Thursday
from 6am to 4:30pm. /n RESPONSIBILITIES: /n /n - Performs magnetic
particle testing of parts and materials as assigned by the MP
Supervisor, Lead MP Technician, or the NDT Manager. /n - Handles
materials utilizing monorail cranes and forklifts as needed. /n -
Unpacks materials received for testing and repackages the materials
for shipping after testing has been completed as needed. /n -
Follows all applicable and required specifications and procedures,
ensuring accuracy and compliance to all test requirements. /n -
Ensures that the test equipment and instruments are functioning
properly, and calibration is valid prior to performing any tests.
Informs the MP Supervisor whenever any equipment is found to be out
of calibration or in need of repair. /n - Analyzes and documents
test results, consulting with the MP Supervisor, MP Lead
Technician, or MP Level 3 as necessary. /n - Monitors ever changing
scheduled completion dates and times to insure that established
schedules are met. The MP Supervisor must be notified sufficiently
in advance whenever the schedule for a job might not be met. /n -
Assists with maintaining test equipment. This includes cleaning the
equipment, performing preventive maintenance as scheduled, and
performing repair maintenance as required. /n - Maintains assigned
work area(s) in a clean, organized, and safe condition. /n -
Understands and complies with LTI’s QA Program. /n - Seeks
clarification from MP Supervisor, MP Lead Technician, or MP Level 3
when specifications or directions are unclear. /n - Complies with
all company policies and procedures. /n - Follows all safety rules
and regulations and utilizes personal protective equipment as
required. /n - Performs other duties and responsibilities as
assigned or directed by the MP Supervisor, MP Lead Technician, or
the NDT Manager. /n /n /n /n QUALIFICATIONS /n /n - Sufficient
experience to meet the minimum requirement for certification level
required in accordance LTI’s certification procedures preferred. /n
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED). /n -
Certificates, licenses and registrations required: TBD /n -
Computer skills required: Microsoft Office /n - Must have excellent
attention to details, process work with accuracy, and be able to
work in a team environment with minimal supervision. /n - Must pass
an annual eye examination with J1 @ 12” visual acuity required,
must be able to focus and satisfactorily pass both written tests
and practical examinations, and must have the ability to resolve
problems that occur during testing. /n - Must be able to lift 50 to
75 pounds. /n - Must meet citizenship eligibility required by
accrediting bodies. /n /n This position requires use of information
or access to processes subject to national security controls under
U.S. export laws including but not limited to International Traffic
in Arms Regulations (ITAR). In accordance with ITAR, to be
