industries worldwide. /n This is a 1st shift role working Monday to
Friday from 6:30am to 3pm at our facility in Hatfield, PA /n A Day
in the Life of a Saw Operator: /n /n - Reviews instructions and
cutting requirements on job envelopes. /n - Uses proper techniques
for speeds and feed of different alloys in cutting. /n - Follows
all applicable and required specifications and procedures, ensuring
accuracy and compliance to machining requirements. /n - Maintains
traceability of test pieces and customer scrap at all times. /n -
Stamps proper identification and location on test specimens, when
required. /n - Ensures that the saws and other shop equipment to be
utilized are functioning properly and in calibration prior to
performing any work. Informs the supervisor whenever any equipment
is found to be out of calibration or in need of repair. /n -
Troubleshoots problems and takes corrective action, as necessary
and appropriate and within guidelines as established by the
supervisor or manager. /n - Monitors scheduled completion dates and
times to insure that established schedules are met. The supervisor
must be notified sufficiently in advance whenever the schedule for
a job might not be met. /n - Assists with maintaining shop
equipment. This includes cleaning the equipment, performing
preventive maintenance as scheduled and performing repair
maintenance as required. /n - Maintains assigned work area(s) in a
clean, organized, and safe condition at all times. /n - Understands
and complies with LTI’s QA Program at all times. /n - Seeks
clarification when specifications or directions are unclear. /n -
Assists with the proper disposal of scrap metals from within the
department. /n - Complies with all company policies and procedures
at all times. /n - Follows all safety rules and regulations at all
times and utilizes personal protective equipment, as required. /n -
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed
by the Machine Shop Supervisor or Manager. /n /n Qualifications: /n
/n - Must possess high school diploma or GED. /n - Previous sawing
experience preferred, but not required /n - Experience with Marvel
saws, Hyd-Mech saws, Shear and belt sanders preferred. /n - Strong
attention to detail. /n - Ability to work well in a team
environment. /n - Ability to process work with accuracy in a
fast-paced environment. /n - Ability to work with minimal
supervision. /n - Must have the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. /n
- Must meet citizenship eligibility required by accrediting bodies.

laws including but not limited to International Traffic in Arms
Regulations (ITAR). In accordance with ITAR, to be qualified to
