209,189 | Hay Points; 1182 RESPONSIBILITIES: This role is designed
for a dynamic and forward-thinking individual who has extensive
experience in audit and compliance response, policy review and
implementation, strategic planning and management. Working within
the Chief Administrative Office, the position will also provide
support in advancing NYCT’s system wide compliance posture and
strategic change management initiatives, to ensure a coordinated,
transparent, and effective engagement with internal and external
oversight entities and stakeholders. • Act as a project management
advisor to NYCT’s modal departments, guiding their responses to
audits from external and internal auditing bodies, and addressing
appropriate remediation to Controls • Ensure the successful
implementation of all NYCT’s owned recommendations/corrective
actions and compliance with all internal policies and procedures
including but not limited to employee and labor relations. •
Provide oversight, tracking, and support of NYCT interaction with
MTA Inspector General, MTA Audit Services, MTA Corporate
Compliance, NYS Comptroller’s Office, NYCT SIR, and other auditing
and investigatory bodies both external and internal to MTA. •
Facilitate inter-agency collaboration and partnerships to identify
best practices. • Prepare reports on emergent situations and issues
impacting NYCT. • Assess vulnerabilities and risks to identify
potential issues and provide strategic plans to mitigate risk. •
Quality check agency-relevant audit, investigations, and internal
controls information, which is being reported out to MTA Board, MTA
Inspector General, MTA Corporate Compliance, NYS Comptroller’s
Office, NYCT SIR, NYCT President or other entities. • Perform
analysis on special initiatives as necessary. Provide analytic
support as needed to NYCT Departments. • Other projects as
assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : A Baccalaureate Degree from an
accredited college in Public Administration, Law, Public Policy,
Business, Accounting, Transportation or a satisfactory equivalent
Twelve (12) years’ experience, of which seven (7) must have been in
a managerial or supervisory capacity. DESIRED SKILLS: Strategic
Compliance Leadership: Demonstrated ability to oversee agency wide
compliance programs, interpret complex regulatory requirements, and
guide departments through audits, investigations, and corrective
actions. Analytical & Risk Assessment Capabilities: Expertise in
evaluating vulnerabilities, conducting risk assessments,
interpreting audit findings, and developing data-driven mitigation
strategies that support long-term organizational sustainability.
Advanced Project & Program Management: Proven success in managing
large-scale, cross-functional initiatives, coordinating with senior
leadership, and ensuring timely execution of corrective actions,
emergency plans, and agencywide strategic priorities. Exceptional
Communication & Interagency Collaboration: Strong ability to
communicate complex issues clearly to executives, regulators, and
operational teams, while fostering productive collaboration with
internal departments, oversight entities, and external
stakeholders. Emergency Management & Operational Preparedness
Expertise: Ability to develop, implement, and refine emergency
management strategies, concept-of-operations documents, and
preparedness policies aligned with safety, labor, and regulatory
requirements. Leadership in High-Visibility, Dynamic Environments:
Demonstrated success leading teams in fast-paced, high-stakes
settings, exercising sound judgment, balancing focus and
flexibility, and maintaining a proactive, facilitative, and
