Job Description:
Barclays Bank Delaware seeks Credit and Data Analytics AVP in
Wilmington, DE (multiple positions available): Manage the USCB card
risk strategy to mitigate overall credit risk of USCB card
portfolio through a variety of risk management techniques including
CLI/CLD/Reissue and Closure. Formulate and conduct extensive
analytical exercises in order to improve existing business
strategies and policies. Conduct comprehensive analysis across
product to optimize portfolio return from both risk and revenue
perspective. Track strategy performance and read test result
regularly to understand customer behaviors and conduct deep-dive
analysis for any significant variances observed. Develop and
enhance existing strategy evaluation & decision framework with
historical data to improve performance forecast accuracy. Conduct
data cleaning/ migrate data source and implement strategy with
other teams. Explore new data sources and platform to improve data
management efficiency. Support the Company by conducting industry
competitor analysis to find new opportunities to allow Company
success in a competitive market. Manage up to 2 direct report of
Senior Analysts, overseeing their work to ensure business
deliverables are met timely and accurately. May telecommute. This
position is eligible for incentives pursuant to Barclays Employee
Referral Program. Purpose of the role To use innovative data
analytics and machine learning techniques to extract valuable
insights from the banks data reserves, leveraging these insights to
inform strategic decision-making, improve operational efficiency,
and drive innovation across the organisation. Accountabilities
Identification, collection, extraction of data from various
sources, including internal and external sources. Performing data
cleaning, wrangling, and transformation to ensure its quality and
suitability for analysis. Development and maintenance of efficient
data pipelines for automated data acquisition and processing.
Design and conduct of statistical and machine learning models to
analyse patterns, trends, and relationships in the data.
Development and implementation of predictive models to forecast
future outcomes and identify potential risks and opportunities.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to seek out opportunities to
add value from data through Data Science. Assistant Vice President

of information, internal and external sources such as procedures
and practises (in other areas, teams, companies, etc).to solve

information. Complex information could include sensitive
information or information that is difficult to communicate because
of its content or its audience. Influence or convince stakeholders
